The death of Joice Claressa Ripley (nee Dillman), 75, of Oxford, occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre after a brief illness.  Joice was born January, 26, 1938, in Halifax County, NS.

Joice was a kind, caring, and quiet woman with a close collection of dear friends.  Her sweet nature will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband, Robert Ripley, with whom she would have enjoyed her tenth wedding anniversary this August.  She will also be missed by her daughter, Joice, of Truro, and her many great friends at Four Seasons Manor.

Joice was predeceased by her parents.

Arrangements for Joice are under the care and supervision of W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water Street, Oxford (902) 447-2167.  A time of visitation will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral at 2 pm.  Rev. Mark Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Donations in her memory may be made to the Oxford Fire Department.
