Hilda Hoare, age 87, of Fox Harbour, passed away peacefully
on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash.
Born in Welton's Corner, she was a daughter of the late Chester and
Dorothy (Armstrong) Ogilvie.
In earlier years,
Hilda worked as a retail clerk, and was homemaker all of her life. She
was a member of the Fox Harbour UCW. Family was very important to
Hilda, and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Hilda will be sadly missed by her son, Ivan (June)
Hoare of Fox Harbour; five grandchildren, Curtis (Michelle Field)
Hoare, Michelle (Brian Richardson) Mouland, Crystal (Greg) Bushen,
Anthony (Donna Tofflemire) Hoare, and John Patrick (Karen) Hoare;
seven great grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan, Josiah, Maddison, Madeline,
Makayla, and Adriana; brother, Sherman (Madeline) Ogilvie of
Welton`s Corner, as well as several special nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her Husband of
65 years, George Hoare; brother, Onslow Ogilvie; and great
granddaughter Abigail.
Cremation has taken
place under the care and supervision of W Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water
St., Oxford (902-447-2167). There will be no visitation or memorial
service. A graveside service will be held in Fox Harbour at a later
date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Hilda may do so to
a charity of your choice.
