It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Marie Fenton, age 88, of Collingwood, NS.  Marjorie passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with family by her side.

Born in Collingwood, NS, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Amon) Hyndman.

Marjorie enjoyed bowling, playing cards and darts, as well as watching curling on television.  A very active lady, she was a member of the Collingwood Wyvern Unit 1 UCW, the Just Friends Collingwood, the All Saints Hospital Auxiliary, Springhill, the Collingwood United Church Choir, and the Oxford Frozen Food Seniors Group.  She was Past President of the Royal Canadian Ladies Auxiliary, and an Elder of the Collingwood United Church.

She will be dearly missed by her sons Leslie (Barb), Maysville, BC,Kenneth (Tanya), PEI, Larry (Jackie), Springhill, NS, Donnie, Springhill, NS, Bruce (Tammy), Amherst, NS, Wayne, Collingwood, NS; daughter Katherine (Fred) Carde, Springhill, NS; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her husband Donald, her son Theodore and daughter Dianne.  The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her brother and sisters.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167) where visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 1 pm until 2 pm, followed immediately at 2 pm by her funeral service, Rev. Peter Anthony officiating.  Burial will take place in the Collingwood-Wyvern Cemetery in the spring.
