Bob Parris, 67 of Oxford, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at home.

Bob was a welder by trade and well known in the community for his mechanic work. Always willing to help out working on someone’s car.  He played for the Amherst Jr A Ramblers and was recently honored at their 50 year reunion.

Survived by wife, Lil, of 49 years, children Stacie (Darryl), Oxford, Robert (Kim), Wentworth, grandchildren Beth, Gracie, Hayley, Zach, Myah, Caiden, Rylen, and great grandchildren Landon and Lily; Sisters, Gloria (Fred), Oxford, Bev (John), Parrsboro, Shirley (Bud), Five Islands, Jim (Betty Anne), Five Islands, Doreen (Curtis), Amherst, sister in law Joanne.

Predeceased by mother Eveline Parris, father Reg Rushton, grandson Nathan Woodland, brother Wayne Parris.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford , NS (902-447-2167). No Visitation by request. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross in Bob's memory.
